Lori Whitten

President
Action International, Inc. & Action Visa Assistance
Lori Whitten co-founded Action Visa Assistance alongside her father with a simple but powerful mission: to help hardworking employers navigate the ever-changing tides of the H-2B program. What started as a family-led effort has grown into a multi-generational business, with Lori’s daughter, Anique Watson, now playing a leading role in the company’s future. Together, this mother-daughter duo brings deep roots, fresh energy, and unmatched expertise to their clients. With over 25 years in the H-2B space, Lori has become a steady hand through the storm. She has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with small businesses across the country, ensuring they stay compliant while remaining competitive. A small business owner herself—first running a successful event company and later a brick-and-mortar restaurant—Lori knows firsthand the pressures her clients face. That’s why she brings more than just paperwork help; she brings heart, hustle, and practical know-how. Lori has also been a relentless advocate on Capitol Hill, working for over a decade on H-2B legislative reform. She is a founding board member of the Seasonal Employment Alliance and an active member of the H-2B Coalition. Training and education are at the core of Lori’s mission. She hosts regular webinars and live seminars on compliance, and her course is recognized for Continuing Education Credits by the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association. A graduate of Texas A&M–Commerce with a B.A. in Political Science and Government, Lori has always been deeply rooted in her local community. Her volunteer service includes leadership roles in the Wylie Chamber of Commerce, Wylie ISD Foundation, Connections Magazine, the Wylie Championship Rodeo, and more. Legacy, advocacy, and service—that’s the Action Visa way. And with the next generation now leading alongside her, Lori is more committed than ever to helping businesses and workers thrive.
